The 2008 Ford Fusion V6 SE is a small, yet affordable, family car that sells for a MSRP of $21,800. The 2008 Ford Fusion V6 SE has a six speed automatic transmission and a 3.0L V6, 24 valve, 221 horsepower engine running at 6250 rpm.
Mileage is in the mid efficiency range, with the car running between 17mpg in the city and 25mpg for highway driving, although anecdotal reports from car owners indicated that actual mileage appears to be much higher. Since the car is light and uses a six speed transmission, real world gas efficiency should attained.
Not only is the gas efficiency considered near optimal, the car has many luxury features, despite being a budget vehicle. Even though consumers are paying around $21K for the car new, it doesn’t mean they have to forego leather seats, a sun roof, an included satellite radio, ambient lighting, and a very smooth drive.
The 2008 Ford Fusion V6 SE is designed to compete with the Toyota Camry and the Honda Accord, but is considered to be more luxurious than either.
